Process Description / Working Principle

1. Preparation: Whole coconuts are dehusked, shelled, and pared to obtain clean, white coconut meat.

2. Disintegration: The meat is finely ground to a smooth pulp for better milk extraction.

3. Extraction: The ground pulp is pressed in a screw or hydraulic extractor to separate coconut milk from residue.

4. Filtration: Extracted milk passes through fine filters to remove any solids or impurities.

5. Homogenization: Ensures smooth texture, uniform fat distribution, and stable consistency.

6. Pasteurization: The milk is gently heated under controlled conditions to extend shelf life and ensure microbial safety.
