Coconut Oil Processing Machines are designed to extract pure, natural coconut oil from fresh coconut meat or dried copra through mechanical pressing and filtration. The system integrates key stages such as copra cutting, cooking, pressing, and oil filtration—ensuring maximum oil recovery with minimal wastage. These machines are ideal for producing virgin coconut oil (VCO), cold-pressed oil, or refined coconut oil (RBD) for use in food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
1. Preparation: Fresh coconuts are dehusked, shelled, and dried to form copra, or processed directly for virgin oil.
2. Crushing / Grinding: The dried copra or fresh meat is crushed into fine particles to increase surface area for oil extraction.
3. Cooking (Optional): In hot-press systems, the crushed material is lightly heated to release more oil.
4. Pressing: The cooked or raw material is pressed in a screw or hydraulic expeller to extract raw coconut oil.
5. Filtration: The extracted oil passes through filter presses to remove solids and impurities.
6. Refining (Optional): For RBD oil, further refining, bleaching, and deodorizing are done to improve purity, color, and odor.
7. Packaging: The filtered or refined oil is filled into containers under hygienic conditions for retail or bulk supply.
